As I understand it, apparently NHK had a show where one of the characters started growing and rampaging!! It seemed to make QUITE an impression with everyone.. I wish I could have seen it! Hopefully, we'll get to see the same excitement with Fuguri and Manx!! <:P

NHK stands for "Nippon Hoso Kyokai", or "Japan Broadcasting Corp." in English. It is one of the major broadcasting stations in Japan, much like NBC is to America.So we're talking about a cartoon series character here.
BTW, the link posted by Tora-san above DOES NOT WORK, at least for most of us outside Japan (it might not work for them either). This is because NHK has blocked it for copyright reasons. So if you try the link, and it doesn't work, don't get frustrated at Tora-san - it's the station that's blocking it, not him.
