After Fuguri came out of the station, he ducked into the shadow of a footbridge
where he could avoid being seen, and grew to his full size.
Although he transformed carefully so as not to crush the surrounding building,
he noticed that he had stepped on several buses and taxis
which were waiting outside the station and squashed them.
"Just my luck!"
he said, but he didn't pay much mind.
After all, exploring his power is just what he had come here for.
Crowded with the evening rush, the town fell into a great uproar
at the sight of the huge boy who had appeared so suddenly.
Fuguri took a deep breath and cried out,
"Hello, everybody! My name is Blue Cat!"
Blue Cat was the name he had thought up while on the train.
TV reporters had arbitrarily called him Cat Eared Boy or simply The Huge Boy,
so Fuguri thought it was better to come up with a catchy name for himself.
"An evil alien has shrunken himself down
and is hiding somewhere in this area."
Fuguri's booming voice echoed throughout the town.
"I am here to defeat him, so please evacuate right
before someone gets hurt."
Fuguri didn't have a good imagination, but he did his best.
The curious onlookers who had gathered at Fuguri's feet
began to run frantically in all directions.
"I guess a declaration of war is necessary, isn't it?"
But he aimed to ensure that everyone knew that he was the hero...
