■2011年11月30日（水）　 冬はコタツ！

小人さんの街でコタツに入るふぐりんとマンクス。
薄暗い灼熱のコタツの中は大変な事になっているようです。

In Japan in the winter, people use a heater called KOTATSU, which is a square wooden frame and is covered with a thick quilt, and under this they enjoy conversation, warming their hands and feet.

     Macro pic aside (which is fun), I think this is a marvelous tradition/invention of the Japanese.

    Imagine huddling up under some warming covers on a cold winter evening, enjoying a warming pitcher of hot spiked egg nog, maybe playing a board game,and experiencing the warming touch of your partner's bare legs under the covers. A nice way to spend a brisk holiday evening, I think..:)
